Fernz Timber Protection - Arsenic Acid plant design and manufacture
TP Engineering was contracted to part design and manufacture an Arsenic Acid plant at our Wiri site. This included stainless steel fabrication and installation, fabrication and installation of pumps and stainless pipework, pneumatic actuators and control equipment, steam boiler and pipework. Our installation requirements for this project had time contraints around our production requirements. TP Engineering completed all projects within the time schedule. Currently, TP Engineering have the mechanical services contract which involves the following: boiler survey, pump repairs and service, heat exchanger service, callouts when required. We are pleased with the performance and quality of workmanship that TP Engineering provides and have no hesitation in recommending them for any future projects.

Fulton Hogan Auckland - Hopper Construction with electronically controlled weighfeeders
In July 1996 Fulton Hogan Auckland advertised for tender the construction of several large hoppers with electronically controlled weighfeeders for our Hotmix Plant in Reliable Way Mt Wellington. During the tender evaluation process all the contending companies were interviewed as to their capability to undertake the work, manufacture to our standards and complete the installation of the bins on time during the 1996/97 Christmas break. We were at first a little unsure of TP Engineering’s capabilities especially in the manufacture of the weighfeeders, which they admitted was new to them, but they convinced us that they could undertake the work and would stand by the finished product. Because of their knowledge and willingness to work closely alongside us during the project we awarded them the contract. The end result of this has been not only the very satisfactory installation of the feeder bins ahead of schedule but also the allocation of further works by ourselves which has also been completed to our satisfaction. TP Engineering certainly have the ability and resources to undertake the complete contract from the planning/design stage through to full completion. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to other organisations as we are so confident of their abilities that we have inducted them into Fulton Hogan’s Safety/Quality system as one of our preferred suppliers.
